So, after a very long hiatus, I am back to write a journal entry only then to disappear again haha

First of all, I barely drew this summer cos I was working and scripting Snow over and over again. So I barely had anything new to show at MCC.

In terms of cosplay, I had a lot of fun. I sewed a whole Sailor Mercury costume, with providing the tiaras and my mum making boot covers cos me and zippers don't like each other. MICA made a film of Sailor Moon, and we kicked ass This film was then shown at St. James Cavalier cinema during the Comic convention, but sadly i missed it. I was chosen for Mercury due to my resemblance to the character; the only problem I had was the bloody mini skirts. Me and my fellow sailor scouts all agreed on not making them as microscopic as they are in the series. I must say, feeling the breeze between my legs and showing off my panties every time I move is not amusing. But overall, I enjoyed the experience.

Then we had the Notte Bianca in October (or was it september >.<). I had to write 3 scripts for skits 3 days before I went abroad cos no one else could/would. The skits, Lupin, Sailor Moon and Corto Maltese turned out fantastic! I had fun performing, even though I was exhausted. The most fun part of the night was when my brother, Nephrite, was getting beaten up by a little boy when we were rehearsing. It was too much XD

After that, I slowed down on cosplay and prepared for the comic-con and university. For MCC, me and decided to do a Sucker Punch skit and so we prepared. on the other hand, university sucks as usual, especially this year since i have a thesis to do. My theme song is "I've got a jar of dirt" since my thesis is about dust. WOOP

Finally, the Malta Comic-Con was held on the 26-27th November, and I prepared my comic Snow to sell and get feedback. I printed 16 copies and kept one for myself. Disaster struck on the morn of the 26th, I woke up sick. I wanted to shoot myself -.- I hadn't finished setting up my stand, so I had do everything sunday morning. I sold a total of 12 copies, aided by my fantastic advertiser bro. I was so happy

I completed my Rocket costume the day before, finishing off her cross thing. We couldn't find anyone to play the other girls for Sucker Punch a month before, so we stuck with Rocket (me), Sweet Pea (maltese lizzie) and Blue Jones (my bro). We performed our skit, Two Ladies for the Group Cosplay competition and WE WON One of the judges was Sonia Leong, one of the awesomest and nicest people i've ever met, and I've got a signed copy of Romeo and Juliet I'm still ecstatic haha I managed to get my V for Vendetta signed as well by David Lloyd, who still surprises me by how nice he is, considering his fame.

So, although i went only for one day, this was the best comic-con EVER. I also got the Pilot comic anthology which was brilliant.
